Addison, Texas is known for festivals - Oktoberfest, KaboomTown, and the upcoming festival that showcases the local restaurants. You may think you know the name of this annual event, held in May at Addison Circle Park, but do you? Really?
This year - 2019 - Taste Addison (not Taste of Addison) begins Friday, May 31st and runs through Sunday, June 2nd.
Here are the details:
Friday 6-11 pm: Admission is $15 for ages 13+, $5 for ages 6-12, and free under 5.
Saturday 11 am-11 pm: Admission is $15 for ages 13+, $5 for ages 6-12, and free under 5.
Sunday 11 am-6 pm: Free for all ages.

Here's what's new this year: point of sale purchase system for food and beverages - no more getting coupons/tickets! And, The Daily Bite makes its debut - small bites from TGI Fridays (on Friday, of course), from Chamberlain's Fish Market (on Saturday), and from Hilton Garden's Inn restaurant (on Sunday). New attractions (not free) include a petting zoo, splatter paint shirt design station, and hair braiding.
Here's what's the same: entertainment throughout the park, complimentary samples of specialty foods and wine (ages 21 and over) in the Addison Conference Centre, cooking demonstrations, carnival rides on the midway.
