We took these photos of the food halls at the Galeries Lafayette, on the department stores in Paris. Their staging of the produce was impeccable. It reminded us of our own, Santa Barbara Farmers Market. Pictured above is a wonderful variety of tomatoes.
Note the beautiful variety of artichokes, fennel, radishes, rutabagas, etc...

Hi Alexandra... everyone always waxes enthusiastic about Harrod's Food Hall, which I know well having lived practically around the corner from Harrod's, but I still prefer Galleries Lafayette... then again, I admit to being a Francophile through and through.
