Today was a mega “postcard preparation” day. I felt like playing with postcard messages, and my favorite is the Apple Pie postcard.

Unless all 7,500 single family homes call them, this is an inexpensive way to get your foot in the door. I thought it was a great idea.

We’ve had good response with direct mail marketing from homeowners, in spite of the sellers’ market that we continue to battle. We’re digging deeply for listings, and direct mail marketing is an important method to keep our shelves stocked.

We had several accepted offers within the past 10 days, and need another 5 or 6 listings quickly. Let them eat pie!!!

Myrl Jeffcoat for the one week I knocked on doors in 1978, I passed out a recipe brochure with a Pillsbury dough boy on the cover....cost me a bundle and I hated door knocking.... mailing was easier!!!
