One of our favorite places to visit is Rome. I love their colors, balconies with flowers and greenery, small quaint places to meet for cappuccinos, a glass of wine, lunch or dinner with family and friends. The narrow streets and historic architecture takes me back in time to a simpler and slower pace of living and always points up the difference in our lifestyle of living in a much younger country. The greenery cascading down caught my eye when we were making our way with our guide from the Parathion ruins down the hilly paved streets to City Hall. He told us they've been draped and growing to everyones delight for a very long time!
