If you are looking for a home, I would first ask - what is your motivation? If you desperately want a home, then you want to see those homes on the very first day on the market. No matter which day it comes on. If that Seller gets the offer they are looking for, they usually will take it.
If you are looking for a DEAL, then most homes do price reductions on Monday or Tuesday, as they did not see offers on the weekend. We are seeing most reductions on Tuesday, so this is a great day to revisit those homes you find intriguing. For a better deal, if a home has been on the market for more than one week, or even a month in certain price ranges, this could spell out D E A L. If the Sellers priced it too high, that could be a reason why it sat on the market. Some homeowners have not been given the fact that our market has shifted a bit, and pricing too high won't help a Seller.
