Wordfull Wednesday: Incredible Edibles and Views in Milan!

We marveled at the intricately accurate reproduction in chocolate artistry of designer shoes and handbags at the Rinascente Department Store in Milan. On this top floor you can find all types of Italian delicacies including summer truffles, which were in season.

It is well worth the visit to their top floor, as they have a terrace restaurant and a bar with this magnificent view of the Duomo.  It was a delight to sit there sipping our Pellegrino while enjoying this magnificent masterpiece on a beautiful sunny day!

Joe Pryor if you are doing a tour (with a tour guide) be sure it includes a visit to La Scala, or better yet get a ticket for a performance.  It is not just an opera house, it is an amazing structure.  I would also recommend the Leornardo da Vinci museum...we can also recommend some great restaurants, if you would like that.  A
