We met our client at closing today!
Technology has come so far that we sold a vacant lot to a builder that we've never met until today. He walked the property, called us, we wrote the offer and presented it to our sellers - done deal!
Of course, not all real estate is sold this way. Technology allows us to send all the information to our clients now, which saves them time. However, I still like going over the contract, paragraph by paragraph, so there are no unwanted surprises. Signing electronically is great. The face to face interaction is what is missing. I am old school and still like that hand shake when we come to an agreement.
