Things are heating up in East Boston, as plans for yet another apartment complex close in.
Located right across from the Maverick T Station, the project would include 25 apartments, 3 of which will be income restricted.
It will also feature 10,000 sq. Ft. of street level retail space which is expected to attract businesses and provide jobs.
The project is a creation by EMBARC Studio and MG2. While it has been approved by the Boston Planning and Development Agency, it is still waiting on approval from the zoning department, but is expected to pass through without issue.
This is only the latest building in a long line of developments in East Boston, where billions of dollars have been spent in the process. The property is currently in use as a parking lot.
