Even if you are not committing every weekend to home renovations, most homeowners likely have a wish list of home projects they’d like to tackle if they ever have a time and money to make it happen.

Maybe you dream of one-day installing shiplap paneling to give your bathroom a more relaxed, coastal look, or perhaps you are thinking about finally painting your front door that color you saved from the inspirational post you saw.

Luckily you do not need to wait to win a lottery to realize that home’s potential – all of these home improvements are easy ideas and will only cost $100 or less. Many of the ideas on this content do not require buying anything new, but merely updating the items, you already own with custom touches.

THE PROBLEMS:

A boring, all white room
If you love the peaceful, beachy look white wood paneling brings to a place, and then let that office makeover you saw online inspire your next home project.

A front door needs to be refreshed
The color on your front door is not the only first thing visitors will notice about your home – but this decision may even affect the value of your house.

Old and ugly headboard
There are times when your headboard was passed over a generation to another – basically, it was old and rusty, and a makeover is needed.

Short on storage
Be honest, and you are stress about your storage room combined with your laundry area. Remember that storage room are essential to keep your home organized.

A dingy carpeted staircase

A fully carpeted staircase is one of those features guaranteed to give away a home’s age. While removing the carpeting and starting fresh requires some work – it shouldn’t be expensive.

SOLUTIONS:

Add inexpensive shiplap
You can add a shiplap accent wall out of cheap plywood – instead of buying individual pieces which will cost you a lot, buy four large plywood pieces and had those cut down to 6-inch a strip.

Brighten up the entrance
If you want to have a sunny yellow door because why not it is a front porch and it should be as bright as the sun, but always remember that the color of your front door should complement the overall look of your home.

Give it a tufted fabric facelift
If you are already tired of your dull and unattractive headboard, then add a little fabric to uplift the style. Once covered in fabric and tufted with buttons, no one would ever guess that it was your old headboard.

Make easy custom cabinets
These custom cabinets are the secret of a pleasant storage room. Shop a secondhand stored for the units, and then make them your own with a fresh coat of paint and wood trim from the hardware store.

Install a runner

After removing the outdated carpet, you have to prime and painted the wood staircase hiding underneath and then look for a runner that is safe and will look refreshing for your staircase.

So there are no more reasons for stressing up yourself in home improvements. May these tips help you achieve your goal.

Yes I agree Tamra Lee Ulmer. For me invest in a nice shiny front door handle that opens like butter. A inexpensive one if your toilet bowl caps have come off replace them. They only cost about $3.50 at Home Depot for a package of 2. Jeff
