This past weekend we had an old fashioned farm auction for the estate of my husbands parents home. Being a "suburb" gal, I was in amazement of all the equipment,tools and jars after jars of nuts, bolts etc..
How much I take for granted and throw away..were saved for "just in case" or "you never know when you might need a..."
8+ hours of auctioning from a tin of buttons to horse trailers, tractors, balers,rakers,trucks, mowers fencing, grain buildings and chicken houses... to the final item sold,, the well pump.
Bittersweet for all the siblings , kids and grands.. So much love and memories shared,,
Mom and Dad V, know you were watching from above,,,,
Now comes the hardest part,,,
