Wordless Wednesday...Imagination

When we’re out on our morning walks, Larry and I like to chat and observe nature. We also are busy keeping our eyes open for any snakes that may cross our path.

For months, I’ve passed by this old tree stump and my imagination kept getting carried away.

I think if it could talk it would tall lots of stories about the people who walked past it every day...how they grew and changed...and what happened to change "him."

I think I would have made a double take on it also, thinking it may be a snake.  Cool pictures!  Have a great day!

Just worrying about coming across a snake, Kathy, would be enough for me to avoid walks in some areas. My imagination runs wild with terror of snakes.

Yikes, you seem like it's so natural to see one. Yes, by your photo, I can see why your imagination took you there...Clever!

Good morning, Kathy - some things are best to avoid and although I encourage imagination, there are limits.

On one of my weekly group hikes the leader took a moment to educate us about snake bites, and where snakes like to lie, next to and under logs where their food, mice like to run, so you have to be aware when stepping over logs or rocks. Since then, my walks have been a little more fraught with concern and care as I step up on logs and step down after having a good look around.

Hello Kathy,  I would pass on the thinking of snakes, not a fan at all of them since almost bit by a rattle snake.

I'm more concerned how the man got burried up to his chin just inches away, has a tree growing out of his scalp and no one mentions that?

I'm looking at that photo left in the comment by Donald Urschalitz . . . That's another thing that would keep a house from selling.  There's no way I'm going to tackle that lockbox!
