Go Ziplining in Horseshoe Bend
This was an exciting activity for us, because Michael and I have never been ziplining before! So of course, like I do with any and all first-time activities in Idaho, I had to add it to the list of Boyle’s Boise: 52 Things to Do and See.
First of all, we did this through Zip Idaho, a company based in Horseshoe Bend, Idaho that provides a unique eco-adventure that combines tree based canopy-tour style zip lines with lines up to 2000 ft. They are conveniently located just a half-hour north of Boise on Highway 55. Michael and I have been driving through here for years, and many other Boiseans know that this location is a nature lovers dream with a variety of activities such as whitewater rafting, swimming from sandy beaches, mountain biking, and fishing, plus there are train rides that you can enjoy while in the area.
About Me
I have been living in Idaho for my entire life, and the Treasure Valley has been my home for more than 30 years. In addition to constantly exploring the city and all of its activities, I am also very involved in the Treasure Valley’s philanthropy scene and have been working in the Mortgage industry as a Loan Officer for more than 35 years now. Additionally, my husband Michael had a 20+ year career in Real Estate. So if you are new to the area and looking to lay some roots for your family, get involved with some great causes, connect with like-minded people or just explore all that Boise has to offer – please don’t hesitate to let me know!
