There is nothing wrong with wanting to live a long life but I wonder why? I'd much rather live a wider life, fuller, and more meaningful than long and unfulfilled. When days aren't busy they seem long. I'd rather be busy than coast through life without a care in the world. Below are some of my favorite quotes plus my personal thoughts and opinions. I would love to know if any of these resonate with you. Comments would be appreciated.

The more experiments you make the better. ~Ralph Waldo Emerson

Wasted time is a wasted life and in my opinion, the more distractions you give full attention to, the more you lose the sense of time that really matters to you on earth.
The saddest summary of a life contains three descriptions: could have, might have, and should have. ~ Louis E. Boone
If you think of each day as a separate life you can spend a generous amount of your time achieving more every single day without putting off what you hope to achieve for the future which may never arrive.
The purpose of life, after all, is to live it, to taste experience to the utmost, to reach out eagerly and without fear for newer and richer experience. ~Eleanor Roosevelt
Never squander time but don't sacrifice all your time for another's sake. Be your own timekeeper. Live wide!
If you obey all the rules, you’ll miss all the fun. ~ Katharine Hepburn
