The Mama Bunny Didn't Want My Lettuce

By

I guess some things are really unpredictable. My pups have now gone onto camp and this is the toughest part of travel for me. I miss them already. So I was finishing the last of my packing and I looked outside to see the mama bunny that shares my property with me chomping away in my flower garden. So......I got some lettuce and tried to entice her. She wasn't interested. I guess her tastes run more basic or more exciting than mine. Oh well, maybe the babies will eat the lettuce later.

She probably likes your flowers better.  I use to have pet lop earred bunnies.  They had the run of my backyard.  They loved my flowers much more than any vegetables I tried to entice them with.

Maybe they thought that the lettuce was not organic. Discerning bunnies.

I'm guessing she'd be all over that lettuce if it were growing out of the ground. She's used to super fresh.

I think the bunnies enjoy the food more when they think they are stealing it instead of having it given to them!  LOL
