Saturday Smiles: 2nd Day of Summer@the Santa Barbara Farmers Market

By
Services for Real Estate Pros with Napa Consultants

The first of the heirloom tomatoes, our favorites, are showing up at last. As July comes around, there will be more available.

Yellow squash as always is plentiful.  We loved the artistry of the arrangement and the varieties offered by this farmer.  We love the look and feel of those star shaped squash.

Lots of torpedo onions still prevail, perhaps because our weather has not resembled summer yet. They are sweet, taste great grilled, and raw in salads.

These donut shaped peaches were an intense and lovely pop of color.

And yes, we grow macadamia nuts in Santa Barbara County, pictured above...

Wishing you all an abundance of Saturday Smiles...and a great Sunday too!

CAN YOU STATE HOW YOU ARE DIFFERENT AND BETTER THAN YOUR COMPETITION IN LESS THAN 30 SECONDS?

ABOUT:  Luxury Real Estate is a high stakes game. Commissions are substantial! Your Elevator Statement is a succinct and persuasive summary of your extraordinary promise of value, your unique selling proposition.  In a time-starved world the attention span of your target market is shrinking.  To instantly convey what sets you apart from the crowd you need to be able to answer EACH ONE of these 3 questions in less than 30 seconds.: 1) What Do You Do?; 2)  How Do You Do It?, and;  3) How Are You Different?.  Can you state how you are different and better than your competition in less than 30 seconds?

Watch the video above to see and hear how we do it.

Nina Hollander those macademia shells caught my attention too.  I remember my mother telling me after she attended a food conference in Hawaii that macademias are labor intensive, just to get them out of the shell...A

Maria Gilda Racelis one of the reasons we have all this interesting produce is because the chefs in our county demand this kind of variety of produce.  And our Farmers Market history goes back to the 1940's.  A

Good evening Ron and Alexandra Seigel ,

I've missed my arm chair traveling to the Santa Barbara Farmers Market! As usual your post did not disappoint. I love the heirloom tomatoes. Our cleaning people have a huge garden and brought us some and they are so good! The artistry of the squash display was beautiful..loved all the sizes and shapes.

Hi Ron and Alexandra- the photo of the squash brought back memories of my childhood. My grandmother would prepare those and somehow get all of us kids to enjoy eating them.

There is an odd thing going on with the squash growing in my garden.  The Yellow Straight-Neck squash is doing really well.  But, I can't get the Zucchini planted nearby to thrive.  So odd.
