There are ways to work around those challenges! Great job, and it sounds like Velma is having a great time in her new home!

Hello Kathy - congratulations on the sale of this La Quinta home.  Where others may have seen a challenge, you chose to think of the situation as an opportunity.  Velma has a can-do/will succeed attitude and that's important.  In real estate and in life.  Good job.

Congrats to you!  We have become so accustomed to the technology that has made our lives easier, but every now and then, we have to do things the old way and it works just fine!

Brian,  I wont be hesitant to work with a techno challenged client after my experience with Velma!  K

Hello Kathy,  You did good with your client, I would have to look for my fax machine but think I still have one.

We sure don't have one- but HelloFax worked great!

Hi Kathy,
I had no problem with technologically challenged clients. When I started in the business we didn't have any technology so it was business as usual. We even had to take photos to the store to get developed.  I believe I was the first one in my city to get email, a cell phone and Fax machine.  1985ish.

And, congratulations on your Club Championship(s)!  I'm a golfer too.

I sure do rely on Docusign- even for my "in town" clients.  It's so easy and eliminates printing and scanning.  But Velma and I got it done the old fashioned way!  K

I just closed on a property this week with much the same  circumstances. It was three brothers who had never seen the property for which we were selling and the closest brother lived 47 miles away. I had to drive to Seattle to have him sign any paperwork. He is the administrator of his mother and dads estate.

I love your post Kathy Schowe

Thanks Paul!  Sounds like yours was even more challenging than mine!  K

What a great story, Kathy, and what a pistol of a client. Imagine, with all this technology the old-fashioned way works and may work better.

Without texting-- I had to pick up the phone and call her.  And yes- sometimes that is really better!  Good to hear from you!  K
