Neighborhoods of Fairhope AL

Fairhope is a medium sized town in Baldwin County that lies adjacent to Mobile Bay.  There's only about 21,000 people who live here but the number is growing.  People love it here!  One of the reasons for the growth is the notarity that Fairhope is getting from publications all over the country.  This town is quaint, artsy, and beautiful.  You'll find moss covered, 100 year old oak trees, a very charming downtown area, and inviting people.

Although the area isn't huge, there is a good mix of neighborhoods in Fairhope for home buyers in all price ranges.  Home prices can range anywhere from $90,000 to $6,000,000.  The demand for the area is growing so much that there are a number of new developments assisting in the supply of home buyers wanting to make Fairhope their home.

Around the downtown area of Fairhope, there is a neighborhood that we call the Fruit & Nut District.  Yes, it sounds a little quirky but the neighborhood is named because all of its streets are named after, well, fruits and nuts.  This is a highly desirable area, mainly due to the fact that it's within walking distance to the very popular downtown and Mobile Bay.

Fairhope also has a few sought after golf courses: Quail Creek, Rock Creek, and Lakewood.  Quail Creek offers more modest priced homes but residents on Lakewood Golf Club showcases homes on the other end of the spectrum.  Rock Creek is one of the most popular neighborhoods in Fairhope.  Rock Creek is a large community with well-presented homes and a gorgeous, championship golf course.

Fairhope isn't all business and industry.  Much of the city is very rural and there are many brand new neighborhoods that are being developed offering home buyers even more options.  Most of these neighborhoods provide homes that are priced around $300,000 to $400,000.  A good example of this is Firethorne which has had over 90 homes close in just the past 3 years.

If you haven't heard about Fairhope, you should read up on it.  This one of the best places to live in lower Alabama and you won't be disappointed.
