This weeks report on home values for Mission Viejo and surrounding areas homes is prepared by a Mission Viejo Realtor Tim Lorenz. The report shows the Orange County Median Prices for resale homes were up 0.6 percent, new homes are down 4.3 percent and resale condos are down 1.5 percent. The sales volume is down for resale homes 1.3 percent, up 0.5 percent on condos and down 42.0 percent for new homes.
Mission Viejo Zip Code 92691 sales prices are up 9.1 percent and the sales volume is up 38.2 percent.
Mission Viejo Zip Code 92692 sales prices are down 9.9 percent and the sales volume is down 10.1 percent.
Aliso Viejo Zip Code 92656 sales prices are up 0.9 and the sales volume is up 19.7 percent
Laguna Niguel Zip Code 92677 sales prices up 3.8 percent and the sales volume is up 10.0 percent.
Rancho Santa Margarita Zip Code 92688 sales prices are up 2.2 percent and the sales volume down 5.8 percent.
San Clemente Zip Code 92672 sales prices are up 25.4 percent and the sales volume is up 50.0 percent.
San Clemente Zip Code 92673 sales prices are down 3.6 percent and the sales volume is down 7.5 percent.
We see a much better report week over week for these zip codes. Note that the median price and the sales volume are both are in most cases positive. As we move into summer it is a great time to get a push to the positive.
