You're singin' my song.  I truly believe all things can work for good.  My brother and I were talking about this yesterday, how we've had to make lemonade out of the lemons in both our lives.   You and Ray are certainly a testament to Attitude Determines Altitude.  Carry on!

The quote, "A bad attitude is like a flat tire.  You can't go anywhere until you change it." is a great analogy.  It's funny, but true!  If you can't change it, then you'll simply be stuck!  It sort of goes inline with Einstein's quote on definition of Insanity.

A challenging post this morning, I love it. At the moment I often feel like I am on a roller coaster, but overall I enjoy life, nothing a walk or a bike ride out in nature does not fix. Never sure on a roller coaster what is the best part, the going up slowly with the expectation or the swoosh as you plummet downhill with a sharp turn left or right thrown in for good measure.

Debe, life is what you make of it, and strong beliefs and will power can be a good thing! 

Debe the only thing certain in life is that it will end someday, and we need to take advantage of each and every precious minute we have.

You two are inspiring examples. I believe strongly in the law of attraction - it says that the more you grouse about something, the more of it you'll get. It's far better to focus on what's going right, so you can get more of that.

Even if the pictured bike had tires abundant of air, it is still missing a seat!

Hi Debe- what an uplifting post!  Life throws everyone some lemons...it's inevitable. But those who learn how to make the proverbial lemonade out of lemons are the ones who will thrive. And yes, we can look to you and Ray for inspiration.

Goodness knows life has thrown me many curve balls, a few of which I missed catching.  The ones I have caught, helped me grow into the person I am today.

How can two people (siblings), exposed to the same life experiences and familial upbringing, be so vastly different? Inquiring minds want to know!

Debe Maxwell, CRS - I like the analogy of the bike and the flat tire! You drive home your point cleverly! My Bachelor's degree was in Applied Behavioral Sciences. The knowledge I gained stays with me always and there's always more to learn. But if there's one thing I'm certain, change begins with me and you can't change other people. Only they have the power to change.  

attitude determines so much of what happens in your life.  A family member is going through a tough patch and I pray that there is strength to get through it with grace.
