Hi Everyone! Happy Monday to all - wishing for you and me a wonderful
and happy week. I have started a personal challenge today which I have
started many times before. Yep, once again I am going to work on losing
a few pounds. And I am reminded of many quotes (ha, ha, ha)...I am going
to and determined to meet the challenge and if I fall, I will pick myself up
and continue the journey. Wish me success and I wish for you the best and
success in whatever personal challenge you are currently working on. See
you next Monday and I will let you know how well I have done... With you,
my friends in mind, I just know it will be easier. Jane

You are going to be in great shape after you finish this new challenge! Did you win the last challenge? I missed the final results, but I knew that you were winning.

Hi Michael Jacobs, I can tell by reading your posts that you utilize learning and information for growth and transformation. Have a great day!
Happy Wednesday, Myrl Jeffcoat, Those are 3 pretty important words - Clint Eastwood movie: Improvise, Adapt, Overcome. I will think about it today and
see where it can help me.
Wishing you a great day Li Read. Sort of fun to challenge ourselves in the beginning and then we sort of drift off the path. Perhaps need to remember that each day is a new day in my challenge and start with a fresh slate and insight gained from previous days.
Hi Barbara Todaro. You have three great words in your comment and on this Wednesday, the 3rd day of my challenge to lose weight and tone up, I am going to focus on them:
BELIEVE.....CHALLENGE.....PUSH YOURSELF.
I really like the 3rd one ~ I know you did that and one of the reasons
you succeeded.
When you look at the total picture of our lives, the statement in your comment says a lot: I CHALLENGED MYSELF!!!!! Really, Ron and Alexandra Seigel, that is the key, isn't it?
Debe Maxwell, CRS, battling ourselves and winning is the greatest feat. Like you write, it doesn't usually kill us; instead we feel great as winners!
Hi James Dray, Both quotes you chose I also like. I know if I am challenging myself, I must stay focused, determined, disciplined and 'focused' is a word that I am going to concentrate on more.
Time to tell you, Brian England, that we terminated that race of the Tortoise and the Hare. We both hit too many plateaus and we felt we needed a fresh start and just began again with this challenge. Yep, I need to use one of the many quotes on falling/failing and picking oneself up.... I did manage to lose over 10 pounds in the race as the Tortoise ---- as also did the Hare:) Brian, we both did really try. Now I am trying to change my perspective and not look at it as a failure...

If you both lost 10 lbs, it definitely wasn't a failure! I know how you feel, I keep trying different things too. The battle of the bulge is a tough one!
Will Hamm, there is a reason to like Tony Robbins...He has some fantastic work. I have always enjoyed the importance of the 'masterpiece' perspective -- we are all artists and painting our own 'Michaelangelo'... It's up to each of us,
right?!? If you do not like the painting in front of you, change it... Pick up different brushes, different oils, different colors. Have a great day!
Dear Brian England, you are such a wonderful friend. You are so very
kind and supportive of others. I appreciate your support today - it is
day 3 of the 'challenge' and to be honest, things are going very well. I
have lost a couple pounds... Yay!! Wishing you over there in East
Valley, AZ. a beautiful day where everything works just great for you.
