No rain, clear skies, breezy but not windy, united we stand in Flower Mound to wish everyone a very Happy 4th of July! Although there may be miles between us, we share our smiles, laughter, love, and cheers!
My thoughts are with those serving our country and are working hard so that we can continue to enjoy our freedom. For their sake, and all those who weren't so lucky, peace begins at home. "Should auld acquaintance be forgotten, and never brought to mind?" What would that look like? No bullying! No harsh and disrespectful criticism? Enormous growth and opportunity with great jobs, leadership, enjoyable and hard work for all without entitlement? Oh, wouldn't it be nice to "take a cup of kindness yet," and enjoy the sunshine and the sunsets of our life with peace and harmony?
We have our hillsides, islands, mountains, rivers, oceans, deserts, forests, and prairies. There are enough people here in America to enjoy cultural diversity without political or religious discourse. From sea to shining sea there are children who are living examples of joy and happiness, learning so hard how to adapt to our society. For their sake, should auld, old and all transgressions be forgotten and forgiven? Wouldn't it be great to cross sturdy and safe bridges and live in stable infrastructure if only there was peace and not a war between countries or war of words between people? Good communication is the greatest gift we can give to one another. And wouldn't it be nice to know, "there's a hand, my trusty friend, to all in need of charity in times of need due to natural disasters, hardship, and sorrow?
Let community fireworks ignite energy to live together in peace and harmony everywhere.
