The Poly High Neighborhood

Poly High is an urban city district located in the northwestern part of the city of Long Beach, California. The community is bordered by several neighborhoods including South Wrigley, Washington, Lincoln, Sunrise, and Whittier. The district is comprised of various parts of these neighborhoods that surround the campus of Long Beach Polytechnic High School. 

Residential Real Estate in the Poly High neighborhood is mostly single-family homes along with a few multi-family townhouses and attached residences. These properties come in a variety of designs and architecture, ranging from studio to three-bedroom layouts. Each house typically comes standard with a kitchen, dining area, living room space, and a small yard. Pacific Coast Highway goes through the middle of the neighborhood. The highway is lined with restaurants, stores, bars, hotels, and other commercial establishments. Residents can also visit the lovely outdoor parks in the community that include Chittick Field, Martin Luther King Jr Park, California Recreation Park, and McBride Skate Plaza.

What schools are available for Poly High residents?

The neighborhood got its name from Long Beach Polytechnic High School which is conveniently located in the center of the district. The school has a top performance with excellent educational facilities, fantastic academic and athletic programs, and competitive advanced learning classes. On the other hand,  Long Beach City College is on the eastern side of the district while other schools in the area include Mary Butler School, Roosevelt Elementary School, and many more.
