The Zaferia Neighborhood

Zaferia is a mixed-use urban neighborhood with various residential properties, commercial establishments, schools, and other local businesses. The community is in the eastern part of the city bounded by East 10th Street, Junipero Avenue, Pacific Coast Highway, and Loma Avenue. 

There is a diverse real estate market in the neighborhood with apartment buildings, single-family homes, condominiums, and multi-family homes available in the area. These residences come in one to four-bedroom models with a variety of features, architecture, designs, and sizes. Home buyers, either looking for a private home or a rental property will find excellent real estate opportunities in this community. 

 

Zaferia Community Amenities

There is a couple of parks readily available to families living in the community, and these are Rotary Centennial Park and Orizaba Park. Orizaba Park, located in the center of the neighborhood features paved walkways, mature trees, well-maintained green spaces, children's playground, recreation center, and outdoor basketball court. There are several stores, shops, restaurants, and other establishments found mainly along the major roads of Zaferia. Junipero Beach and Downtown Long Beach are also a short drive from the district, making both coastal locations an ideal place for beach lovers who are looking for a home close to the ocean.

What schools are available for Zaferia residents?

Schools are plentiful within and around the Zaferia neighborhood. Nieto Herrera Elementary School is located in the northern part of the community while Willard Elementary School is to the south. Other schools available to families planning to move into the area are Thomas Jefferson Middle School and Woodrow Wilson Classical High School.
