Welcome back to my Summer 2019 Spokane WA neighborhoods tour! This weeks Spokane neighborhood feature is : Browne's Addition, Spokane's oldest neighborhood, rich in history and home to the cities first founders and visionaries.
Situated just West of downtown Spokane, Browne's Addition has some wonderful places to eat including The Elk Pub, Italia Trattoria and more !There are mansions that are labeled with historical plaques which make for a great walking tour . Couer d'Alene park is home to the annual Artfest which is one of my all time favorite local events.
The Mac Museum ( https://www.northwestmuseum.org/ ) is located in Browne's Addition and is a must see when visiting Spokane.
Many of the historical homes have been converted into apartments and condos, making Browne's Addition a popular place for students from the local universities and colleges. Some, however remain single family residences and are truly amazing.
At the far end of Browne's Addition is a great condo coversion called " The Ridge " which boasts view of both Latah Creek and the Spokane River.
Real estate in Browne's Addition has a large variance of prices and often times is of interest to investors. There are also single family residences available for sale, from smaller homes to near mansions and multi-family units. The zip codes are 99204 and 99201. If you would like more specific info on real estate in Brownes addition, give me a shout!
The incredible E.J. Robert's mansion bed and breakfast is a stunning place for events, and a great place to stay in Browne's Addition.
