There are a lot of great neighborhoods in Fountain. In addition to Cumberland green here are some of our clients favorite Fountain, Colorado neighborhoods.

Barnstormers Landing is a popular residential subdivision located in Fountain, Colorado. Situated just Southwest of the Colorado Springs Airport. This neighborhood is especially popular with military members because its just minutes to the Colorado Springs Airport and Peterson Air Force Base while Fort Carson is also a short 15-minute drive for Barnstormers Landing.

Fountain Valley Ranch is a large neighborhood located in Fountain, Colorado. This is a popular neighborhood because of its proximity to Peterson Air Force Base and Fort Carson. This neighborhood is extremely popular with military members because of both location and price. The area does see a good amount of turnover which makes looking at the area statistics really interesting.

Lorson Ranch is a newer neighborhood located in Fountain, Colorado. This neighborhood offers a wide range of newer homes for sale. The Lorson Ranch neighborhood covers over 1,400 acres and is located at Marksheffel Road & Fontaine Boulevard. Lorson Ranch is conveniently located at the epicenter of military operations; 6 miles southwest of Schriever Air Force Base, 4 miles south of Peterson Air Force Base, 6 miles southeast of the Colorado Springs Airport, and 5 miles east of Ft. Carson Army Base.

Homes for sale in Ranch are typically 1,500 to 3,500 square feet and range from $260,000 to $420,000. The median sales price in this area is $317,000. Homes built in this area average 4 bedrooms 3 bathrooms with 2,600 square feet. Homes were built here between 2006 and current day with the average home built in 2016.

Mesa Ridge is a neighborhood in Fountain Colorado that has a great range of newer homes for sale. Homes for sale in Mesa Ridge are typically 2,000 to 4,000 square feet and range from $250,000 to $450,000. Barnstormers Landing, Cumberland Green, The Glen at Widefield, and Lorson Ranch are all areas with new home construction, while Countryside, Fountain, Fountain Valley Ranch, Wild Oak Farms are all popular developments with established homes and communities. Apartments, condos, and townhomes are on the rise in this area.

This neighborhood is Conveniently located just east of downtown Fountain and a quick 15-minute drive to Fort Carson and 20 minutes to Peterson Air Force Base. These short commutes and a laid-back lifestyle make Wild Oak Farms very popular community for military families.

Building and development started in this area in the early 1990s and continued on through the late 1990s. There are approximately 450 homes in the neighborhood and while there isn’t an abundance of park space in the actual neighborhood, Wild Oak Farms does back to Jimmy Camp Creek which includes acres of open space and miles of trails which are open to the public.
