If Google and the Internet are still relevant your domaine name for your real estate website may be significant. It's one of the virtual headlines viewers will be exploring as they search for services. It's a significant part of your branding. But, how important is it? It's the key that opens the door to your business, but without good content, the viewer may go elsewhere. So it's not only two fold, but possiby three fold, and more. Meaning? Google likes interesting, original, and new content. That's why having a blog on your site is critical. Also, if you create videos and continue to post new videos that will help tremendously.
If you're a creative person you can go on various web sites like GoDaddy where you can see what domaines have yet to be created by searching for domaines. It's easy. Type in your domaine request and the site will tell you if it's still available and if you'd like to make a purchase. The good news about GoDaddy is it's usually srelatively inexpensive.
This is not an ad or promotion for GoDaddy but thought I should share that after spending a few minutes online over the 4th of July weekend searching for interesting real estate websites I learned that GoDaddy has a domaine auction website that might be of interest to you. GoDaddy also offers a valuation algorithm that's pretty amazing.
Without making any recommendations, there are some spectacular real estate domaines listed there. Leave a comment if you'd like some more info regarding this, and I'm happy to share some of the good ones I saw.
