The way we begin each day is a good indication of how the remainder of the day will flow. I’m convinced that today will be a smoothly running day, after reading a text my daughter, Tammy, sent to me last night. Of course, I didn’t read it until this morning, since my eyes close early to get to the gym early.
The text said, “CMA Thursday at (property address.) He’s been collecting our mailings. Retiring to their second home.”
The keyword phrase here is “collecting our mailings.” That brought a great feeling of “success” for the consistent effort that I’ve exercised over the years.
Direct mail marketing works, when executed in a consistent and timely fashion. I mail the same time of the month every month.
Not only is this effective for securing new fresh listings, but it’s a very powerful way of branding us as a “listing team.” It works; it costs money; and there’s a great return from those dollars spent.
One new listing will allow me to “market like I mean it” and locate other potential listings and buyers. Remember, buyers ARE future listings.
I could write a book….but for now, I’ll just share a thought!
