When you enter Disney World's Magic Kingdom, go down Main Street and head left right before Cinderella's Castle, and you'll end up in Adventureland, which is themed to resemble the jungles of Africa, Asia, South America, and the South Pacific.
In addition to being the home of Aloha Isle, the most popular place where you can get a Dole Whip in Disney World, Adventureland has the following five attractions:
1. Enchanted Tiki Room
If you like Disney park trivia, here's some history of the Tiki Room, courtesy of Wiki:
This attraction originally opened in California's Disneyland in 1963. and and when Florida's Walt Disney World opened in 1971, it included an identical show (just with a different pre-show) called Tropical Serenade, which later became The Enchanted Tiki Room.
It's a pretty neat show, with over 150 talking, singing, and dancing birds, flowers, and totem poles. I don't make a huge point of visiting this one on every trip, just because I prefer rides over shows when I go to theme parks, but this is a classic and one that my husband particlarly likes.
2. Jungle Cruise
This ride simulates a riverboat cruise around Asia, Africa, and South America, featuring audio-animatronic animals. The "trademark" of the ride, so to speak, is the cast member driving the boat, who entertains you various corny jokes as he or she leads the tour. Not surprisingly, this is a ride that can be somewhere between mediocre and really fun, depending on which cast member you get.
I've heard this is a particularly good one to ride at night, although I've personally never done so.
3. The Magic Carpets of Aladdin
A lot of people dismiss this ride as being "just like Dumbo," but my kids really like, and in fact my middle child declared it "really underrated" on our last trip. Unlike Dumbo, there is a camel that squirts water that you can try to dodge by using the levers to make your carpets go higher or lower. (I think this "water-dodging" is what my kids like about it.
And also unlike Dumbo, the line is almost non-existent (although admittedly, that is much less of a problem that it used to be, when Dumbo was refurbished in 2012 with an extra carousel and an interactive queu).

4. Pirates of the Caribbean
This is another one of my husband's favorites. (He prefers the "calm and visually interesting" rides, which I prefer the rides that spin you around and/or make you scream). It's a boat ride depicting the life of a pirate, so to speak. In 2003, the first of a series of movies based on the ride was made, and starting in 2006, Disney has incorporated characters from the movies (like Johnny Depp's Captain Jack Sparrow) into the ride, which is pretty cool.

5. Swiss Family Treehouse
This attraction is neither a ride nor a show, but rather a self-guided walking tour. I watched a video, and it looks very peaceful and interesting-looking, especially if you are familiar with the movie (which I am not).
Do be aware that there are a fair amount of steps to climb, so depending on the mobility level and current energy level of the people in your party, that may be a reason to skip this one.
I hope this post has been helpful and has given you a better idea of which Adventureland attractions are the best ones for your family on your next Disney trip.
