After graduation, he was the weatherman at WMBD-TV Peoria, Illinois. He became the original weatherman on the brand-new ABC program, Good Morning America where he stayed 7 years.
He moved around as a weather forecaster to New York, Chicago and San Diego. He once called climate change as the “greatest scam in history”. In 2016, he moved to Sun City, he died in 2018 at Summerlin Hospital Medical Center in Las Vegas.
What you may not know about Mr. Coleman is in 1981, he co-founded “The Weather Channel”, serving as CEO and President during the start-up. Don’t know about you, but I watch it almost on a daily basis.
