Moon Landing Anniversary Party in Gaithersburg, Maryland
Man first landed on the moon on July 20, 1969. Gaithersburg's own Latitude Observatory, which itself turns 120 this year, looked skywards for nearly a century, taking celestial measurements to aid in navigation. So Observatory Park is the perfect place for us to host a moon landing anniversary party. Join us on Saturday, July 20 from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. for hands-on space-related activities, telescope viewing and more. Click here for details.
This is a City of Gaithersburg announcement.
