Is This Mortgage Proposal Good for Me?”

Mr. Petrowsky,

Your name was given to me by Peter XXXXXXXXX, I happened to be telling him about my interest in refinancing. He recommended I call you to find out if the deal that Quicken offered me is good for me, they hold my current mortgage. They offered me 4.625% and charging me 2.125 points which is just over $4000, plus the various other fees, all together $7098. When I include my escrows and other fees I’m up to $13,937. At your earliest convenience can you communicate back.

Phil XXXXXX

So often folks that are considering a refinance will contact their current mortgage holder thinking they will offer them the best deal. This thinking couldn’t be further from the truth. Your current mortgage holder isn’t stupid, they know you are thinking just that.

I took Phil’s mortgage application, his rate is 4.375% with no points, all his closing costs are $7200. A savings of almost $7000.

“WHO ELSE DO YOU KNOW THAT NEEDS MY HELP?”

Good morning, Joe Petrowsky wow...what a difference right across the board....great job.... buyer beware and not assume your current mortgage co. will do you justice.... it's often an injustice.

Good morning Joe. It pays to shop around. The best way is to let a mortgage broker do your shopping. Enjoy your day

Good Morning Joe. Shopping for the best rate is especially important these days.

Where else can you save $7000 for just a couple of minutes of your time

Hi Joe I just talked to someone today that did exactly that - contacted their current mortgage holder and got a high rate plus points. I suggested they call a local lender - totally different offering way WAY lower and no points.
