So many things for you to do this weekend in Bucks County. You can Celebrate the 50th anniversary of the lunar landing, catch a film at the New Hope Film Festival, and take a scenic hike around the Bucks County Audubon Society to explore nature and Bucks County butterflies!

FRIDAY, JULY 19

A Taste of Italy – Cena Con Cescon

Make your reservation to get a delicious taste of Italian food! “A Taste of Italy,” a monthly event, always impresses with their classical Italian food and wine specialties. Enjoy a delicious meal as you learn from wine expert, Aldo Bove.

Artist Jennifer Hansen Rolli, Solo Exhibition, This Place

Come and explore “This Place,” a solo art exhibition by Bucks County artist Jennifer Hansen Rolli. “This Place” celebrates the everyday world in which we live in. From Bucks County backroads to the oak-paneled Champagne Room of the iconic Plaza Hotel, Rolli’s paintings help open our eyes to the details we pass by throughout our life.

Making Astronauts: Bucks County to The Moon

Celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the historic Apollo 11 moon landing with a visit to the Mercer Museum! This special exhibit was created in collaboration with the Johnsville Centrifuge and Science Museum. Come check out historic artifacts, period film clips, a replica spacecraft and many interactive opportunities.

New Hope Film Festival

Make your way to the Arts Center for the New Hope Film Festival. This Film Festival showcases your favorite Independent films from Bucks County and around the world. Be sure to attend the Q&A sessions with the fabulous filmmakers themselves.

Fear & Loathing: Pop Up Tiki Bar

SATURDAY, JULY 20

50th Anniversary Celebration of The Moon Landing

Join the Centennial Education Foundation to commemorate the 50th Anniversary of the Moon Landing! The fun and festivities will include plenty of food trucks and activities for the kids like games, exhibits and a moon bounce.

Beautiful Butterflies: North American Butterfly Count

The Poetry of Sculpture: Raymond Granville Barger (1906-2001)

Come to the James A. Michener Art Museum and learn about Raymond Barger (1906-2001) who believed that artists and sculptors should work hand-in-hand with architects and industrial leaders. Barger is well known for his monumental outdoor sculptures but is also very talented in his smaller-scale, more intimate works for interior spaces. View Barger’s work in person on opening weekend!
