Disney World's height requirements vary depending on the ride, and they are strictly enforced. (I have even heard of cast members turning away a child because they can slide a sheet of paper between the child's head and the height requirement line.)
If you're spending a day at Epcot with little ones and don't want to worry about height requirements, here is the list of all attractions that anyone can ride.
Future World
Future World is at the front section of the park.
1. Disney & Pixar Short Film Festival
This is just what it sounds like: an indoor viewing of 3 different Pixar Shorts in 4D. (You can, by the way, watch all 3 of these shorts on YouTube.) Kids will like this ... I guess? ... but I wouldn't waste your time unless you've run out of other things to do.
2. Innoventions
Innoventions is permantly closing in early September 2019, and it kinda shows. Years ago, it had various interactive games and activities, and now there is almost literally nothing there except for an exbihit about colors sponsored by Glidden paint.
I thought I'd include Innoventions here anyway, but by aware that barely a month after this writing, it will be no more.
3. Journey Into Imagination With Figment
I've actually never been to this attraction, but the general impression is that
a) The 1983-1998 original "Journey Into Imagination" version was much better;
b) This version is "just okay," but kids usually like it a lot.
In it, Figment, the dragon that is sort of Epcot's mascot, takes you on a ride through the sensory labs of Imagination Institute. The play area after the ride has interactive "What If" labs, which I'd definitely take the time to stop by and visit.
4. Living with the Land
This is a ride that sounds horribly boring but is pretty cool. In it, you take a slow boat ride through various greenhouses and learn about the future of agriculture. There are lots of "hidden Mickeys" that are not-so-hidden.
If you go upstairs and eat at the Garden Grill (which I highly recommend), you'll get a rotating view into the inside of this attraction and eat food that was prepared in the greenhouses.
5. Spaceship Earth
Otherwise known as "the golf ball," this slow indoor attraction has Dame Judi Dench narrating a history of communication from the Stone Age through the computer age. As a former homeschooling family, it was nice to see some of the events and people we had studied together.
6. The Seas with Nemo & Friends
This is a slow ride featuring the characters from the movie Finding Nemo. It includes aquariums and other exhibits you can visit.
7. Turtle Talk with Crush
This is really cute and fun. At the end of "The Seas," you can stay for this, and you definitely should. "Crush" answers questions from the audience, and not only is it pretty funny, but because of the interactive nature, it's different every time.
World Showcase
The World Showcase is in the second half the park, and consists of several pavilions of countries circling the World Showcase Lagoon. It generally does not open until 11:00am.
1. Agent P’s World Showcase Adventure
I actually think I enjoyed this more than the kids did. It's a sort of animated scavenger hunt on your phone that takes you through a single country's pavilion.
2. Frozen Ever After
This used to be The Maelstrom, in the Norway pavilion, and some people hate that it was Elsa-fied in 2016. Currently, it is an indoor log flume ride taking you through the land and characters of Arendelle.
3. Gran Fiesta Tour Starring the Three Caballeros
This is nice little gem that most people probably aren't even aware of. It's inside the pyramid in the Mexico pavilion and has virtually no line.
4, An American Adventure
This is a 30-minute show, featuring 35 audio-animatronic figures, telling the important historical points in American history. Be sure to catch the Voices of Liberty performing in the lobby before or after the show.
5. Impressions de France
This is a movie projected over 200 degrees onto five screens. We've never seen it, but I've heard that it is stunning and has a beautiful soundtrack.
6. O Canada!
Narrated by Martin Short, this film showcases the natural beauty and diversity of Canada. This is generally thought of as being the "most entertaining" of the World Showcase films.
However, maybe you should forget all that, because "O Canada!" is currently closed and in the process of getting an updated film. I have no idea what the changes will be, but my understanding is that it will re-open sometime in late 2019.
7. Reflections of China
This is a Circle-Vision 360 film that you view while standing up. It features the people and natural beauty of China.
So that's everything in Epcot that doesn't have height restrictions!
I hope you found this helpful. For more details and lots of great photos (not taken by me), you can read my Guide to Epcot Rides and Attractions.
