The Benefit of Education

“Perhaps the most valuable result of all education is the

ability to make yourself do the thing you have to do,

when it ought to be done, whether you like it or

not; it is the first lesson that ought to be

learned; and however early a man’s

training begin, it is probably

the last lesson that be

learns thoroughly.”

Thomas H. Huxley (1825-1895) English Biologist

As I see it . . . . . . . .

The benefit of education

Is do what has to be done when it has to be done . . . . and to do it with confidence.

Education will give you the tools . . . . and the ability to do the things you have to do successfully.

A valuable lesson of education . . . . is that it has positive impact on your career . . . . and positive effect on your long-term success.

One of the many benefits of education . . . . Is education will prepare you to do the things you have to do with the tools to succeed. Your knowledge will focus your efforts on doing what has to be done. In order to succeed in a productive manner . . . . when things have to be done.

Education creates a strategic business advantage . . . . when that knowledge is properly applied.

Knowing what has to be done . . . . and having the knowledge of how to do them successfully has a significance impact on your success . . . . and your outcome.

Education opens the open the doors to do the things that we have to do with confidence. As a result you will take on the challenging tasks knowing that you’re able to do them . . . . and to do them with excellence.

Through education you gain the knowledge . . . . and through your preparation you will use your knowledge effectively . . . . and develop the ability to do the things you have to do to succeed.

The benefit of education . . . . is endless.

One could also learn something Bob Crane without a formal education by listening to the wisdom of Yankee great Yogi Berra,

  • It ain't over till it's over.
  • It gets late early out there.
    • Referring to the adverse sun conditions in left field at Yankee Stadium.
  • Little things are big.
  • Pair up in threes.
  • Thank you for making this day necessary.
    • Said on Yogi Berra day in 1947 in St. Louis. By his account, he asked a teammate to write a speech, and he misspoke, saying "necessary" instead of "possible."
  • We made too many of the wrong mistakes.
    • On why the Yankees failed to win a 5th consecutive American League pennant in 1959.
  • You can observe a lot by watching.
  • [What time is it?] You mean now?

Great reblog selection, Bob. I was raised by a mother who always said "first and foremost finish your education." Then you can go and do whatever you want. She was right, by the way.
