Just a little bit about Seattle. . .

Seattle is known by many names, from “Sea-Town” for its reputation as a major coastal seaport to “Jet City” for its prominence in the aerospace industry to the “Emerald City” for its blanket of green hills, forested rural parks, and tree-lined coasts. By whichever name you call it, it is undeniable that Seattle is anything less than spectacular. Seattle is nestled between the majestic Cascade and Olympic mountains and boasts picturesque views of numerous lakes and waterways.

Those who have had the privilege of calling the Greater Seattle area their home can attest to the beauty of the Pacific Northwest region.  Seattle is home to some of the world’s biggest companies in technology, aerospace, and coffee, and is a foodie haven specializing in some of the best organic farmers markets, food truck festivals, artisan delicacies, and craft beers – Seattle-ites have a vast range of lifestyles and career opportunities to choose from.

Many consider Downtown Seattle to consist of the following neighborhoods:  Capitol Hill, Pike and Pine, First Hill, South Lake Union, Uptown, Denny Triangle, West Edge, Pioneer Square, International District, Central District and the Retail Core.
