Corrotoman By the Bay is a waterfront community along the western branch of the Corrotoman River and Senior Creek, located in Lancaster County in Virginia's historic Northern Neck. Community amenities include: a saltwater swimming pool, new tennis/pickleball courts, 9-hole chip and putt golf course, clubhouse, pavilion, boat ramp, and boat slip rental.
The Community was formerly the 300-acre Sullavan’s Farm, purchased in 1840 from the Sampsons by John Levern Sullavan. The large house on the top of the hill overlooking the clubhouse was built by Mr. Sullavan. (Actress Margaret Sullavan was Mr. Sullavan’s granddaughter.)
