Ron and Alexandra Seigel hi Alexandra... thanks. Hunter Oaks was one of the first large subdivisions built on the border of Ballantyne in Waxhaw. I've been selling there for going on 20 years. It's a great community with great school, close to Ballantyne but lower Union County taxes.

Debb Janes EcoBroker and Bernie Stea JD hi Debb... I use information from various sources... our MLS, Coldwell Banker, my local IDX company. It seems no one does them all.

Waxhaw, of course, is named after the Waxhaw Indians who first inhabited the area. After so many years in this area, I don't think of anything when I hear Waxhaw expect real estate in Waxhaw.

Yes, I can understand why there were fewer home sales at Hunter Oaks than previously because there were less homes for sale. With great schools, this must be a sought-after neighborhood!

Sheri Sperry - MCNE® hi Sheri... these days it's very hard for home buyers looking in prime communities to do it on their own. Some buyer with an agent will get in way ahead of them.

Lawrence "Larry" & Sheila Agranoff. Cell: 631-805-4400 hi Sheila and Larry... Hunter Oaks always sold well, but in the past few years with so little inventory, it's like a house on fire when a home is priced right and marketed well. Schools drive these sales here, but the location two/three minutes outside of Ballantyne and south Charlotte also plays a big factor.

Joan Cox hi Joan... for the size of this neighborhood, sellers are sitting tight. With the great schools, many don't want to sell until their last kid is out of high school.
