when I did use other make up products, Lancome was my brand of choice for everything.... Shalimar by Guerlain (right out of the '60's continues to be my perfume of choice)... 


just can't teach this "old dog" any new tricks.... tough to break my habits.

Nina Hollander - It's funny, when I was a child I looked up to women wearing lipstick and couldn't wait to wear it myself. I never did feel extraordinary or glamorous wearing any shade and lipgloss felt natural. I liked the additional facts you included. They were all interesting, especially odd about 16 Century Queen Elizabeth I, pale face and red lipstick!

Nina,

Estee Lauder started her company by selling lipstick during the Great Depression.  It is one thing most women were willing to spend on.  I usually forget to put on lipstick, Ron reminds me by saying I look pale.  LOL A
