We know that people who have not visited Wisconsin think of it as a frozen tundra ...and it really is not...we celebrate every one of the four seasons. While some years we find Spring gone in a blink...a great deal of effort is put into the summer celebrations in the area...most especially on Lake Michigan's shores and Maier Park...where you will find a festival Maier Festival Parkevery week of the summer. Millions of dollars have been invested in this venue fot the sunshining enjoyment of our residents and the summer entertainment of the hundreds of thousands of people who come from literally all over the world to enjoy it.
It is difficult to capture in many photographs all that this venue has to enjoy. Many corporations have invested in permanent structures along the lakefront each with their own design to "display" the entertainment that will be part of the many festivals held on the lakefront all summer. There are concerts and entertainers of local and international fame who ou
bring hundreds of thousands of people to enjoy the sights...the sounds...and we can't forget the tastes of the Summer at Henry Maier Festival Park...or as some local people refer to it, the Summerfest grounds. Summerfest is the largest of the festivals held at the end of June thru the first part of July and brings close to a million visitors every year to the shores of Lake Michigan..it is billed as the world's largest music festival...if Music is what you enjoy...Summerfest 2019 had over 800 acts,1000 performances on 12 stages. Corporate stages include companies we love and you will falknow...Miller Brewing, US Cellular, Harley Davidson to name a few who have invested millions in making this venue a showcase for
entertainment in southeastern Wisconsin. Dates for next year will be announced soon....you can "stay tuned" to this site for details as they are announced: Summerfest.com.

Before and After Summerfest....the Lakefront venue is put to good use with many ethnic festivals that visitors come from around the world to enjoy the music, food, cultural displays and entertainment at these events. Festivals include : Festa (Italian fest) Germanfest, Irish Fest,Polish Fest and many more to celebrate the diversity and ethnicity you will find throughout southeastern Wisconsin.

Come and enjoy southeastern Wisconsin...summer and into the fall we have welcoming weather for those of you who don't like cooler temps. You will find it a welcoming place to be...we are proud to have called Wisconsin our home for a lifetime.

This has been a localism warming summer post brought to you by Sally K. & David L. Hanson, Broker Associates with EXP Realty honored to be of service for all things real estate in southeastern Wisconsin.

Good morning, Sally and David. I get why people think of Wisconsin as a frozen tundra... back in the 1970's I travelled to Racine and Green Bay regularly. I always thought Wisconsin had two seasons... winter and 4th of July! Seriously, these lake festivals sound wonderful and clearly make the summer season (which is longer than just the 4th of July) something to look forward to for both residents and tourists.
