Wow! I think it's been like 5 years since the desire to stay relevant and sucked into social media took my digitial expressive tendencies away from this blog.
Looking back at how much real estate I have transacted and new tips and tricks learned in that span I wish I had still be blogging regularly. Plus I had a baby in that time span (2 years ago now) and that has been an amazing experience. I never realized how truly amazing life would be like with my little monkey, Sam.
I had a couple of Monday morning phone calls with some of my best agnets earlier and it got me thinking about how much I enjoy discussing real estate. Not "talking" real estate, discussing. Basically a shared conversation in order to review all the variables of a small or large problem and then coming up with a best course of action and a plan to achieve the goal. That is what I like to do for a living. I started by doing it with tenants, buyers, landlords and sellerss. (like prob most agents - in that order).
As this happens to be the week of the anniversary of my 20th year of having first received a real estate license I have worked iwth a lot of customers and agents (some are now I consider friends) and participated in just about every element of real esstate sales, leasing, property management, concierge services, business brokerage and some commerical real estate. I have now spent more than 1000 weeks as a full time real estate broker. So much has changed in the industry in the past 20 years and continues to at a more rapid rate.
There are so many more elements to a successful transaction with an ever expanding and complicated set of technological and social skills that it's hard to summarize the complexities. There are so so many more options for customers and Realtors a like. Digital solutions abound, yet most of the fundaments still remain true.
It's remains to be a remarkable journey and I intend to reflect more upon it here throughout the next 1000 weeks. In the meantime you can be I'll be some where in South Flordia (Broward & Palm Beach Counties daily) either enjoying the best of the region and managing real estate sales and real estate professionals to achieving success.
I can be found on all social media platforms or on my site, RERandy.com if you want to connect through more "traditional" technology. ;)
