Michelle Carr Crowe,Altas Just Call...408-252-8900! - What a great idea Santa Clara Library System implemented to encourage patrons to read more! The last time I heard something like this was elementary school when we had the bookmobile come to school for kids to explore and read new books that our library didn't have on the shelves. 

200,000 books read per patron benefit patrons and the community! Knowledge begins in homes and expands beyond the library. I really applaud your library for taking action!

Hi Michelle,   What a great idea.  More places should encourage students to do things like this over the summer.  My wife is a reading specialist and she does a lot to support summer reading during the months that students are out of school.
