I represent taxpayers in Klamath Falls and through out Oregon filing tax returns, resolving tax debt and solving IRS issues.
My first question to non-filers is always, why haven't you filed? Many taxpayers haven't filed simply because they can not pay the tax due with their return. Some taxpayers (especially those who are self employed) have gotten behind and overwhelmed, a few have a criminal issue (such as cash payments to undocumented workers) and all are afraid to file. You may not realize that the willful failure to file your return is a federal tax crime under Internal Revenue Code 7203. The IRS has recently identified over 7 million non-filers and publicly announced their resolve to bring these non-filers into tax compliance.
There are tax resolution solutions for all non-filers. If you haven't filed because you can't pay your tax, we can get you filed and tax compliant and then look at tax debt resolutions such as Offer- in-Compromise (OIC, the ability to have tax debt forgiven or reduced, have you account place in an uncollectable status (stopping all IRS efforts to collect) or arrange a tax payment plan to resolve tax debt. If you haven't filed because you are so far behind you don't know where to start. I can assist you in obtaining tax documents and streamlining the filing process. If you have a criminal issue, you can use the IRS's
Voluntary Disclosure Program to voluntary disclose information and avoid a criminal referral.
