Throwback Thursday: Butterfly Horse Art & Dog Bench!

Yesterday, morning after putting 4 hours of work by 10AM, we had the need to get away...Our first choice is to have lunch at Sides Shoes and Hardware restaurant.  The name is unusual but the owners decided to keep the original name of the building for the restaurant.  The drive is beautiful. 

 

Since we arrived before they opened the doors, we walked down the street to J.Woeste's to see what new delights they were featuring.  We enjoyed the artistry of the horse (pictured above) made of metal butterflies.

This garden bench made us smile.  It would enhance any garden, just for the smiles it would bring.

I'm glad they kept the name of the old hardware store as part of the restaurant name.  Coupled with the garden art, it works!

Endre Barath, Jr. we have been there many years ago, and we would not rave about it.  I do appreciate your idea nevertheless.  Il Fornaio used to be open at 6:30, and we would sit at the bar there.  Funny enough none of the hotels serve before 7 or 7:30.  Cheers,  A

well Alexandra you can always go to Killer Cafe' in MDR next to Killer Shrimp. They are open 24 hrs and Diane and I had their eggs Benedict out of this world:)Endre
