Capital One data breech - From Dashlane Aug 6,2019

By
Real Estate Agent with ReMax Realtec Group
What happened?
According to Capital One, someone outside the company gained unauthorized access to the personal information of over 100 million credit card holders and applicants in the U.S. and Canada.
It's important to note that though passwords were not exposed in this breach, other personal information was, including:
Approx. 140,000 Social Security numbers
Approx. 80,000 bank account numbers
Customer data like credit score and contact info

This may be a good time to put a temporary FREEZE on opening new accounts and keeping a close eye on your credit score.
