I went to a wedding the weekend before last. One of my dearest friend's daughter married a lovely young man at an exquisite venue near Lancaster. If you haven't heard or been to Moonstone Manor, you are missing out. Absolutely lovely grounds and facilities.
Seeing a young woman I've known since she was a little girl get married, and seeing the love of her mom and dad was a blessing and I am so grateful that I was able to attend. I am also grateful that I was the agent who they turned to when it was time to buy their first home. I am so thankful to be able to help first-time buyers. I get to watch them grow their families, and it's a privilege to be part of the process.
Last Sunday was a first weekend day off in a while and two of my favorite friends came over and we swam and laughed and enjoyed each others company. One of them is the mom of the young bride! Life is so good at times.
It's been a good week of real estate, I'm enjoying having my son for the last little bit before he heads back to school, and I even got dinner with my older boy! We went to Mamma Maria's in South Philadelphia and that was a treat! A multi-course extravaganza... neither of us were aware that this is what was going to transpire. We were about to burst, we were so full! Maria brought out dessert. Limoncello cake with icing that when I tasted it, I asked her to marry me! She cracked up! If you have the opportunity, you should try it.
It's been a great few weeks and I am thankful
I hope that you have had many things to be thankful for!
