Do the credit bureaus sell peoples information?

This PSA will be short and sweet... the answer is YES!!!! When someone applies for a mortgage the credit bureaus will SELL their personal information to any loan agency willing to buy- resulting in a bunch of joker online lenders calling your client promising the world and then failing to deliver on said promises later.

Credit bureaus sell your information whenever a consumer applies for credit. Isn't that messed up?!?! Below is how to safeguard against this.

Be sure to go to https://www.optoutprescreen.com/ which is recommended by the consumer finance protection bureau and OPT OUT to prevent the major credit bureaus from selling your personal info. This will opt you out and decrease the amount of spam calls and mountain of junk mail that is ongoing and increases whenever you apply for a loan.

I did this a few months ago and I have received WAY less robocalls and junk mail. Please share this with your clients and leave a comment if you have heard of this or used it before.
