Bottlebrush tree in Kula Maui HI 96790

By

It's an easy post - a picture of a bottlebrush tree taken while touring homes for sale in Kula Maui.  We see so many beautifully landscaped yards and I can't help but notice and take pictures.

The upcountry climate favors more temperate species, unlike the hot and steamy north shore, or the arid lowlands by the beaches.

Kula Maui is where you can grow such fruit trees as apples and peaches, veggies like artichokes and cauliflower, along with so many other flowers and foods.

Always loved seeing these trees, Georgie, when I visited in Hawaii. Wish we could grow them here.

Hawaii certainly "speaks to nature" in a way few other places can.

We have those bushes here too and I have always enjoyed the look of them, I keep saying I want one at my house, but it has yet to happen.

HI Georgie Hunter R(S) 58089,

I love all the tropical flowers in Maui. I could grow many in California, but it is more challenging in Sedona!

My previous home had a large Bottlebrush.  I really miss it.  I can imagine they'd grow really weel on Maui.

I love those bottlebrush trees. The colors are pretty amazing (as with so many trees in Hawaii).

Beautiful tree Georgie. Ron and Alexandra Seigel first introduced me to this beauty. You don't see them in the Pacific Northwest.  D

Good Morning Georgie Hunter R(S) 58089 - I love seeing bottle brushes. The first time was in Florida but I didn't know they grow on trees! I thought it was just a plant. Several years ago I bought some for my garden in Flower Mound, TX but they did not grow. Enjoy them while you can! They are absolutely amazing!!!
