Netting an answer...
A couple comes through the door of the Open House Event, disclosing they have an agent. During the conversation with the listing agent, they:
- create several scenarios
- discuss closing costs and fees
- then ask what price would the seller take
There is only one way to answer. “Let's get an offer written and find out.”
The key word is WRITTEN.
Only until a written offer is placed in front of them, may the sellers choose to accept, counter or reject. Fishing for information lacks any kind of commitment but serious buyers will put it in writing, netting an answer!
