I remember that I had a real estate instructor who  would say  lets treat that transaction like if you were buying a car.  When you are buying a car  everything is marketed to the monthly payment. " Get all the expenses in there"

Diana Dahlberg - Wise words indeed from a very wise Real Estate Agent. That is a gorgeous house! I remember the first time I visited Pleasant Prairie. I thought it was so charming. I'm sure a lot has changed in regards to newer construction since I was there in Northern, IL in the early 1990s. But what really counts is a wise Agent who is knowledgable, committed, experienced, and always treats people fairly. I would hire you in an instant if I were moving to Pleasant Prairie.

I just had this conversation with a young home buyer over the weekend. Taxes are not fixed....therefore there's no guarantee that the payment will be either. Something to consider as values increase.
