Great Evening to You!
Hope that You had a prosperous weekend and August, so far!
Visited some Open Houses today....Have you ever done that without your Client(s)? It is very fun!
The first Open House, the Realtor was biting everyone's heads off...which was surprising! Aren't you supposed to be trying to pickup new clients? I thought to myself, if that Realtor was my Realtor, I would let Them know it's not okay to speak with me that way. The tone, was surprising and curt! (yes, Rude)
The second Open House, the Realtor was very kind. She offered information about the area in a color handout, a brochure, was welcoming (at the door with it open waiting for me to approach) and also, very informative. Let me know the back part of the home was an unpermitted add-on. All and All, a Great Conversationist, and seemed to be more concerned that my stay was great, as well as being of service.
The third Open House was very nice. It was new construction. They were extremely helpful. I found out that the main Salesperson/Realtor who worked for the Builder and I had worked together before - which probably helped.
Honestly, I just felt so bad about the First Open House's Realtor, and why was She acting that way?
Please don't get me wrong, I have bad days as much as anyone. AS Professionals, it's important that We All Stick Together, And Rise Above whatever is going on in our lives, when we put that last open house sign up and being entertaining guests.
Please feel free to add any "suggestions" of how YOU make your Open House Guest feel WELCOMED.
God Bless Your Week!
